It salutes generations of past graduates who played a significant role in helping to make America the nation it is today. Additionally, it promotes the uniqueness of each HBCU and the rich academic and cultural experiences they offer to current and future generations, plus the book represents an attempt to tell our own story in hopes of preserving our own history.
